Valdumia Premium Albariño 2005, from Bodegas Valdumia, has been awarded the gold medal in the Challenge International du Vin 2007. The most prestigious wine-growing French contest has distinguished the qualities of this Albariño among 5288 samples from 38 countries. José Manuel Fontan, Bodegas Valdumia’s sales manager, announced that he was pleased that a family business received this recognition in Bordeaux.
